Hello! My name is Kelli Inglis and I’m a zoo keeper, animal trainer and all round bird nerd from the UK. I’ve been working as a zoo keeper since 2012 and in that time I have found my love of animal training! As well as zoo keeping I have 4 rescue parrots at home, 2 eclectus (Billy and Merlin) and 2 cockatiels (Fry and Leela). During these last few years I have learnt all about husbandry training and it’s importance in day to day tasks to improve the welfare of captive animals. Here I want to share with you all about husbandry training, why it’s important and how you can in-cooperate it into your animals training, whether you’re a zoo keeper or a pet owner, lets help our animals to cooperate in their own health care through choice 🙂

I really hope you enjoy and learn from all the content on this page. Please feel free to comment or contact me for more information or with any questions you may have.
